PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES • To maintain absolute focus on Company\'s organisational objectives to establish growth through: nil defects in service delivery customer growth through cross selling of services creating customer value for all stakeholders. • To identify major Corporate Accounts and industry sectors and contact with the express purpose of introducing Companys Records Management Services and the service it provides. • To ensure major contracts are managed and maintained in accordance with agreed service levels and Key Performance Indicators. • To work closely with the National Sales Group, Records Management Specialists and the Business Services Division to ensure maximum opportunities to book business. • To conduct a series of planned regional sales campaigns with the express purpose of increasing Records Management services in accordance with growth strategy. 2. RESPONSIBILITY • The role of Business Development Executive is corporate level marketing. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that the incumbent demonstrates compatibility, organisational synergy and a willingness to work closely with all stakeholders (internal and external). 3. DUTIES • In conjunction with the National Sales Manager and the Divisional manager (Branch) develop key account strategies for major accounts including opportunities for sales growth and cross selling of services. • Maintain a regular call cycle and follow up contact with corporate customers. • Ensure all accounts under purview have routine reviews in accordance with the objectives. • Formulate and present tenders, service proposal • Meet and maintain weekly call targets. • Utilise information supplied by networking, activity reports and local sources to identify new business opportunities and work closely with stakeholders to ensure an integrated approach. • Conduct regular reviews with all dedicated major accounts. • Maintain internal databases and all data entry to exacting standards. • Monitor media sources to identify new or existing Corporate opportunity • Attend, participate and report to Sales Group meetings, reporting on marketing activities, competitor trends and helping to develop sales strategies in general and jobs at hand. • Prepare a detailed Marketing and Sales Report on a monthly basis by midday on the second work day. • Assist in the development of business plans, goals, call targets and budgets. • Identify and develop special projects as and when the opportunities are established
