Job Description
Strategic: ? Assume full management responsibility for all services and activities of the Human Resources Department including staffing, compensation and benefits, employee and industrial relations, training and development, discipline and performance management, organisational development, site facilities, etc ? Consults employees and line managers in all HR related matters (conflict management, absenteeism, working schedules etc) HR Management: ? Manage the development and implementation of HR Department goals, objectives, policies and priorities for each function. ? Select, train, motivate and evaluate department personnel; provide or coordinate staff training; work with employees to develop short and long term goals, monitor accomplishments, establish performance requirements and personal development targets and plans. Performance Management: ? Initiates and monitors HRD core processes like Employee Dialogue, Portfolio Management, Succession Planning, HRD measures, Feedback Management Process (BASICS live, Big Six Radar) ? Promotes and develop: employee orientation, development and continuous training and development Industrial Employee Relation: ? Explain, justify and defend department programs, policies and activities; negotiate and resolve sensitive and controversial issues. ? Ensures legal compliance with HR activities within scope of responsibility ? Ensure industrial harmony in the organisation through maintaining good relationships with Unions. ? Provide advisory services to stakeholders in all Business Units under areas of responsibilities. Administrative: ? Ensures effective administration of respective processes and policies by using internal or external services (e.g. payroll, reporting+documentation, international assignment, recruiting, pension and benefits management etc.) ? Acts as company representative to outside organizations as assigned (courts, recruiting, fairs, local and country networks) Change Management: ? Set up and implements new HR related services+processes into the organization ? Accompanies and implements change projects in the area of responsiblity together with management of respective organizational units. ? Support integration project Conti/ Modi and representing HR related topics ? Participates in other business projects, representing HR
