Development and Deployment of Marketing Communications Plan
• Develop and implement marketing communications plans in conjunction with Marketing Communications Manager
• Ensure the delivery of integrated marcom plan which may include advertising, public relations, marketing collateral, direct marketing, online marketing, electronic media, tradeshows and conferences
• Ensure strategic coordination of the team’s activities to support aligned goals, objectives and operating mechanismsMarcom Expert and Mentor
• Serve as subject matter expert for all marketing communications initiatives, including strategy development, definition of best tactics, resource identification and project management
• Drive adoption of new communications approaches and strategies – look to leverage new channels, techniques and identify unique, relevant MarCom strategies to help meet marketing objectives
• Effectively collaborate with National Instruments Corporate resources
• Mentor and develop MarCom professionalsProvide Sales Support
• Manage creation or enhancement of sales support materials to assist business development efforts - collaterals, pitch book templates, trade show material, etc
• Should respond to very short deadlines while maintaining clear, customer-focused communicationsPublic Relations and Media Management
• Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with representatives of community, media and public interest groups
• Ensure consistent messaging and maximum visibility of business products and leaders, both internally and externally, with all key stakeholders
• Lead the development and approval of press releases, articles to achieve the overall business objective
• Drive interviews and positive trade press while enhancing media relations
• Respond to requests for information from the media or designate another appropriate spokesperson or information source

• 5+ years experience in handling integrated marketing communications with atleast 2 years experience as MarCom Lead/Manager
• Holds a Bachelors Degree in Engineering and Master’s Degree in Marketing
• Technology based Business-to-Business Marketing experience preferred
• Ability to understand and interpret high end technology and implement relevant marcom strategy
• Has worked directly with sales, marketing and cross functions at all levels
• Has successfully led a communications team through personal involvement , trust and providing feedback and coaching to help develop others
• Strong written communication, presentation and planning skills with demonstrated experience speaking and writing clearly and convincingly, tailoring communication methods to customer’s requirements
• Hands on experience in handling various communications media - advertising, public relations, marketing collateral, direct marketing, online marketing, electronic media, tradeshows, conference, etc
• Experience with management of outside vendors, branding, creative direction, printing, public relations, and electronic/social media
