Business forecasting, monitoring & control:
To develop annual business forecasts for MTLR order intake
Acquisition:
Lead acquisition efforts at the department level, guide and support subordinates, decide tactics (price levels competitors activities, market trends, raw material cost movement etc), Bid no Bid decisions, interact with customers, promote and exchange of competitive costing practices and value added propositions amongst the subordinates, develop strong bonds with service providers, product suppliers and vendors, use supplier and other division information channels, review progress vis a vis plan in order to meet annual business plans of the department.
Project Monitoring:
Periodically review the progress of the projects handled by the department with respect to planned cost and time schedule, evaluate risks , guide claims management,Relationship Management:
Build and nurture relationship with customers/ consultants/ vendors/ internal partners, meet key customers .consultants regularly and develop partnerships with them, take note of customer concerns and initiate corrective action, play active role in building company’s image in order to support business growth and ensure customer satisfaction
Coordination:
Coordinate with internal partners, MTLR and other functions and sub vendors in order to facilitate smooth business operations
