Candidate must have the acumen for detailed working.Main Duties and Responsibilities:• Solely dedicated for post order activities for all light industry fan orders. • Have a thorough understanding of the order content from the concerned sales engineer, i.e. preliminary kick off meeting (formal/ informal).Get all relevant details from sales engineer like speed torque curves,performance curves, any special features/ deviations from std fan features etc. • Collect any missing information/ clarification from customer which is essential for order transfer & drg preparation. • Transfer order complete with PO,DID & OBR to factory OH department. The same should be complete in all respect to avoid rework. • Follow-up with design department directly for timely drawing submission etc. • Liaison with customer for speedy drg approval, discuss with engineering department of customer for drg comments/ check same wrt contract / followup with factory OH for resubmission etc. In case customer drg comments calls for additional price implication/ delivery extension, to take up suitably with customer in consultation with factory OH people. • Visit Kolkata factory from time to time to assess the various job progress, bought outs status with factory OH people and inform customer. In case of any discrepancy resulting in foreseeable delay in contractual delivery time frame, written communication must go to customer seeking delivery extension with justification. • Followup with customer for transporter details/road permits/consignee details etc so that invoicing planning is adhered to. • Track invoice receipt & submission to customer. • In case it is proforma payment, arrange proforma from Delhi & ensure payment collection in advance prior to despatch. But primary responsibility of collection will remain with the concerned sales engineer who bagged the order. • Assist payment follow ups to the sales engineers. • In case of any service complaint from customer, inform Regional Manager/ service department.Person Specification/Profile:• Must be a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from an acceptable Engineering college. Should have a minimum experience of 4 years in order execution in mechanical project based/ capital equipment company. • Must possess a good technical knowledge & penchant for detailed working and expediting. • Must have good command over written and oral English, Hindi languages and be able to effectively communicate.
