Present Responsibilities: 1. Primarily responsible for Marketing & Sale of DG sets in the state of Punjab & Nearby State. 2. Provide sales / marketing support to area offices. 3. Power plant package involves direct marketing and interaction / dealing with senior cadre officials (including level of President / Managing Director) of all kind of organizations / multinationals. 4. Dealing with various consultants 5. Dealing with prime customers and various multinationals. 6. Main activities include: > Visits to various Industrial areas in aforesaid states. > Meeting various customers / consultants at top level. > Develop sources / agencies for market intelligence & ground work for sales activity. > Preparation of marketing tools like standard offers, letters, product catalogue, product submission dockets, material required for exhibitions. > Developing the enquiry for prospective business > Enquiry handling - Preparation of bid documents (technical and commercial) for various turnkey projects / sub projects of main packages. (Value ranging from 10 to 100 crores) 7. Post Sales - Ensure timely project execution as per commitment to customer. Involve in various reviews with internal departments as well as customers. Support for all drawings and data submission, approvals from end customer / consultant as applicable. Payment follow up, C forms, TDS certificate receipts, ensure receipt of Bank Guarantees. 8. Provide technical - commercial support to Area Marketing Managers. 9. Preparation of standard price schedules for various DG set models. 10. Actively Participate in formulation of AOP, preparing latest estimates for Power Plant Division. 11. Co-ordinate with area offices for quarterly reviews. 12. Co-ordinate with Materials, engineering departments and suppliers for modifications / up-gradation required in existing accessories, based on market inputs. 13. Develop and Ensure / maintain good Customer relationship with existing customers with help of Product Support Department. 14. Actively participate in framing up the DG set marketing policy.
