Essential functions / responsibilities: Package Lead is key in securing on time delivery of large, complex and/or critical equipment packages to projects. Typical packages are one or several of the following; piping, valves, umbilicals, connection systems and tools. The position requires; Participation in technical/commercial evaluation prior to award Follow up package from Pre Order to Final delivery including documentation Actively follow the package and ensure that critical issues are resolved in a timely manner with supplier, internal teams or with Client and take actions for closure Report to Project Manager and Buyer on status of packages Collect information and prepare weekly reports as required by management or by the Client. Drive execution and work closely with the Suppliers, Engineering leads, responsible Buyers, project Quality Engineers, supplier Quality Engineers and report directly to the Project Manager In agreement with the Project Manager facilitate communication with the Customer in terms of technical aspects and progress Ensuring all relevant project requirements are defined in the Purchase order Conduct Pre-Production meetings with the Suppliers, Customer and key personnel ensuring all parties are aligned on the project requirements and in particular within areas of non-standard procedure Ensure that PPM, Design reviews, document approval (Vendor, Internal, External) are executed so they do not delay the delivery Focus on timely approval (proactively) of ITP, MPS, Test procedures together with the project Conduct Supplier visits as and when required Participation in testing at vendor as requested by Project Manager The Pacakage responsible shall raise with his project manager any issue that might have a future, negative impact on project execution to define importance and risk mitigation Work closely with Sourcing in terms of commercial issues Assist Project Manager / Commercial Manager in change order work Follow up on timely delivery of Company Provided Items into assemblies (typical for connection systems)
