MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: •Designing of medium size plastic products like water purifiers,air condioners, cooler body,toasters etc) Carry out the design optimization of the products to comply with the initial product specification including quality, product requirements and cost • Follow up the development of tooling and processes at the suppliers and production sites and implement changes if necessary. Report on any major changes to the Product development manager. • Ensure products transition successfully from the R&D team to the Production team • Organize and follow up on the pilot productions with all the concerned departments (purchasing, production, quality assurance) • Manage projects in accordance with the initial project requirements and ensure that all required documentation is in place
