 Job Description
  Primary purpose    To lead and or support the local development and implementation of major marketing programmes to influence demand for the Argyle and Diavik productions To foster key partnerships and industry relationships within India To gather first hand information about the diamond jewellery market in India in order to support and continuously inform Company strategy. Accountabilities   Lead and / or Support Business Development and SD initiatives Work together with the Manager, IRO and the SDs to identify, develop and implement a Diavik product differentiation initiative at trade and retail level to generate awareness, interest, and purchase of jewellery carrying Diavik Work together with the Manager, IRO to organise initiatives that increase SD access to local retailers / jewellery manufacturers and enhance their market recognition and credibility through association with RTD  Work together with the Manager, IRO to assist the SDs to increase polished and jewelry uptake in the local market through opportunity identification, marketing programme development, presentation skills, design support, marketing material development, co-operative programmes Market / Customer Intelligence Understand and monitor the Indian market (diamond jewellery market size, consumer preferences, retail landscape, macro economy) through on-the-ground research, local industry engagement and media monitoring to continuously inform RTD strategy and provide a new source of pricing intelligence Understand and monitor customer’s local business activities through regular engagement to enable development of value adding support / marketing programmes and as an input to RTD’s customer knowledge base and dynamic portfolio management RTD Representation Support the Manager, IRO with RTD representative initiatives
