a) Coordinate with the external consultants/external testing lab regarding Chemical compliance requirements ( eg: RoHS). b) Preparing Material Safety Data Sheets for products, as per International standards. c) Provide Material Compliance Management support to the region (different entities in Asia Pacific region). d) Provide clarification on applicable chemical legislation, with respect to import/export of Chemicals ( eg: REACH). e) Ensure compliance with Global Harmonizing System (GHS). f) Ensure compliance with Global Labeling requirements (GL) g) Monitor ‘Chemical List Inventory’ and update the concerned, as applicable. h) Support R & D team with respect to raw material clearance, before introducing a new formulation. i) Provide product specific material compliance information, to the interested parties on need basis. Eg: Product certifications like NSF approval. j) Liaise with local regulatory bodies, in case of any changes in applicable laws, related to Chemical used by the organisation. k) Formulate internal Audits with respect to MCM. l) Co-ordinate with Corporate MCM Office as and when needed.
