Independently head the plant operations of the prefabrication project. Incumbent should be familiar with the world-class technologies in the area of prefabrication industry. Job Description: • Build organizational capability in developing world class prefabricated structural products • Able to understand market requirements for ensuring proper delivery in a cost effective manner resulting in customer satisfaction • Aware of production and erection technologies adopted by domestic and international manufacturers of prefabricated structures. Should be able to adopt best practices for the current facility of manufacturing of prefabricated structures • Develop annual production plans and budget in line with the targets of board and according its final approval • Develop and monitor annual production plans and targets as per the business strategies for ensuring the long-term financial viability of the organization • Direct implementation of production and inventory plans permitting optimal utilization of capital resources, human resources and materials • Articulate at process improvement, production cost reduction, retaining product quality and enhance production efficiency with minimal rejects or wastages • Lead and direct engineering projects for new production equipment, facility requirements and performance enhancements • Able to sustain and develop talented individuals for helping the organization to flourish in the area of prefabrication • Effectively communicate position responsibilities, authority, accountability, and standards of performance to entire team members and clearly devising out roles and responsibilities for efficient performance and delivery • Through follow-up and frequent status reviews with subordinate managers and assuring all initiatives, projects and processes are as per schedule and completed effectively • Develop systems to control inventories, labor costs, material costs, and production line efficiencies to assure achievement of lowest cost producer status (lean manufacturing principles) • Ensure that machine reliability throughout the operations is consistent through active preventive maintenance and sound engineering • Good at coordination with project team members, vendors, contracts and sub-contractors. Can organize regular production review meetings with relevant stake holders (internal & external) Desired Candidate Profile: • Expertise in grasping latest innovations and trends in production of prefabricated steel structures • Able to lead entire team of engineers with strong leadership skills • Complete in-charge of the Plant Operations of a PreFabrication Unit. • Should have sound understanding of operating a modern PreFabrication (preferably structural) manufacturing facility • Should possess good balance of technical and managerial abilities backed by sound technical knowhow of a Prefab plant operations • Should be good at maintaining balance between management and production personnel Ideal Experience • BE / B.Tech (any discipline), MBA (Operations / Productions), with 20-25 years experience in prefabrication company, atleast 5 years must have worked on leadership position in a Plant Operations role; • At least five (5) years experience operating in developing countries with a strong preference for Asian based operations experience; • Previous experience of heading Plant Operations at a senior level with a large multinational organisation will be recommended • Proven project management experience with good analytical skills • Can lead business performance to contribute to the bottom line performance of the organization • Extensive community liaison experience with multiple stakeholders and government authorities for relevant operational compliances Experience: 20-25 yrs with relevant industry experience Job Location: Raigarh (Chattisgarh) Reporting to: ED - Raigarh
